Here’s the problem…

Late last night, despite overwhelming public testimony in opposition to SB 1, Clayton Hee and the committee passed the same-sex marriage measure on to the full Senate “for consideration.” Right. Consideration… as if this has not been a done-deal from the start.

I appreciate Sam Slom and Mike Gabbard for their reasoned and courageous remarks, but they knew, as we knew, this was a settled matter from day one.

Here’s the problem: this is a one party state. The voters never left the plantation, and march lockstep to the Democrat drummer. The State Senate and House can (and will) vote the way the Governor dictates because they KNOW they will be reelected by the same people who elected them.

Saddest part? Christians vote for them in huge percentages. Christians vote against their deeply held theological beliefs and core values… because it is Hawaii. And they are Democrats.

So — how’s that working for you?
