If you are near “The Original Pancake House” on Kapiolani Boulevard in Honolulu, and are really hungry for the best thing you have ever tasted, order the Apple Pancakes. Bring a friend… it is enormous. The best way I can describe it is an apple pie turned inside out. A big, gooey mass of thin-sliced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and wonderfulness. Add a side of thick-sliced crispy bacon and lots of black coffee and you have a near-perfect breakfast.
We went for a walk around Magic Island/Ala Moana Beach Park to walk off the million calories from breakfast, and watched the Koi at Ala Moana Center.
